WoW Warrior Weapons

Which sets the warrior apart from all other classes in World of Warcraft is his ability to carry all weapons except wands. His entire gear should possess certain attributes: A def tank, for example, should have stamina, strength, armor, defense, block rating, parry rating and dodge as his dominating stats. To take the role as tank in the raids a warrior has to have the right equipment since some of the dungeons' bosses are created to kill a character with just one mighty blow. When skilled in either "arms" or "fury", the most important stats are strength, stamina, hit rating and critical strike rating. A Fury Warrior does also greatly profit from high haste rating. It is recommended that you get your equipment enchanted by an enchanter and socketed by a jewel crafter in order to maximize your stats.
Ranged weapons are good for Def Warriors since engineers can craft nice guns that can provide more important tank attributes and can also have sockets. An "Arms"-skilled warrior can use two-handed axes, swords, maces, pole arms and staffs, although staffs are a poor choice since they usually give bonuses to willpower and intelligence. The choice of the right weapon should be well planned since there are three talents in the warriors' skill tree that affect only a special type of weapon. A warrior can choose between specialization in axes and pole arms, maces and swords. Naturally, it would not be wise to spend points in mace specialization when you are going to use swords as your favorite weapons.
